I purchased this toy for my sons, and they are really enjoying it. The battery life is decent, similar to other electric toys. However, the front arm of the toy does not handle bumps well, causing it to fall down while driving. This concerns me as it could fold up and my son could tip backwards. If there was an attachment to hold it up better, I would feel more comfortable. I would not recommend this for a child who just wants to drive around, as it is better suited for something else.
The remote control really enjoys using it
I purchased this for my 6 year old and he absolutely adores it. It met all my expectations, except for the horn which seems a bit cheap. It has 2 speeds and the higher speed is quite fast. The scoop works well, my grandson was able to pick up twigs in the yard with it. I believe any parent with a young child who loves excavators as much as my grandson does, will be pleased with this product.
