My son was disappointed with the sound quality of these and found them to be more like toys.
The screw was stuck and couldn't be removed to install the batteries, it just ended up getting worn down in the process.
I purchased this product for my nephew's birthday. Unfortunately, the battery door for one of the sticks was missing and could not be located. Additionally, the batteries were not working when we tried to use them. I am unsure if the product is functional as I have not had the opportunity to test it with new batteries. It seems as though the product may have been returned and resold without proper inspection. I do not recommend purchasing this item.
Though generally quiet, there's a slight clicking sound when striking. Not a deal-breaker but noticeable in very quiet environments
